7-8 oktyabr 2023-cü il tarixində Azərbaycan Respublikasının Prezidenti yanında Vətəndaşlara Xidmət və Sosial İnnovasiyalar üzrə Dövlət Agentliyinin “İnnovasiyalar Mərkəzi”nin təşkilatı dəstəyi ilə Azərbaycan Robotexnika Mühəndisliyi Akademiyası tərəfindən "INNOLAND" İnkubasiya və Akselerasiya Mərkəzində “NASA Space Apps Challenge” hakatonu keçirilib.
Açılış mərasimində “İnnovasiyalar Mərkəzi”nin direktoru Vüsal Rüstəmov, Rəqəmsal İnkişaf və Nəqliyyat Nazirliyi yanında Kosmik Agentliyin ("Azərkosmos") Strategiya və biznesin inkişafı departamentinin direktoru Natəvan Həsənova, Azərbaycan Kibertəhlükəsizlik Təşkilatları Assosiasiyasınının idarə heyətinin sədr müavini Rauf Cabbarov, “NASA Space Apps Baku”nun layihə rəhbəri Nigar Rəsulzadə və digər qonaqlar iştirak ediblər.
Hakatonun məqsədi qlobal əhəmiyyətli prioritet istiqamətlərdə qeyd olunan mövzulara dair açıq mənbəli həllər yaratmaqdır. Eyni zamanda müvafiq sahələrin elmi tədqiqinə maraq oyatmaq, yeni nəsil alimlərin, texnoloqların, dizaynerlərin və mühəndislərin böyüməsini və müxtəlifliyini təşviq etmək əsas hədəflərdir.
Müsabiqədə 690 müraciətçidən müsabiqə üsulu ilə seçilmiş 23 komanda iştirak edib. Tələblərə cavab verən və 14 yaşdan yuxarı 3-4 nəfər üzvdən ibarət komandalar 36 saat ərzində hakatonun əsas mövzuları olan iqlimin idarəolunması, təhsil texnologiyaları, yanğınların idarəolunması, virtual və artırılmış reallıqlar, sosial layihələr istiqamətlərində tapşırıqları həll ediblər.
Yekunda komandaların təqdimatlarına əsasən qiymətləndirmələr aparılacaq, orijinallığı, konseptləri, ixtiraçılığı ilə fərqlənən, yaradıcı problem həlli və qeyri-standart düşünmə nümayiş etdirən həllər 3 yer üzrə qiymətləndiriləcək və müvafiq olaraq mükafatlandırılacaqlar. Ölkə üzrə qalib gələn komandalar dünyanın 350 şəhərində keçirilmiş hakaton qalibləri ilə birgə yarışacaqlar.
The info sessions of the V "TUSI" Incubation Program are continuing
Within the framework of the program, meetings were organized at Baku Engineering University, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Khazar University, and Azerbaijan Medical University. Students were informed about the goals of the incubation program, startup idea formation, team building, and the opportunities offered by the program, and participants' questions were answered. In total, more than 300 students took part in the info sessions and gained knowledge about the startup ecosystem and the development of innovative ideas.

The 3rd "RoboCode" Camp of "ASAN Service" has concluded
The "RoboCode III" robotic coding camp, jointly organized by the Innovation Center of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, "Silicon Valley Bilisim," and "SAHA Robotics," and sponsored by Expressbank, has come to a close.
The closing ceremony was attended by Vusal Rustamov, Director of the Innovation Center; Tuba Oztepe, Deputy CEO of Silicon Valley Bilisim; Nida Emin Kirishchi, ecosystem development specialist; Burak Can Kaya, Head of Robotics Behavior and Navigation Systems at SAHA Robotics; camp participants; and other guests.
Prototypes developed by the 5 teams that formed during the camp and advanced to the final stage were evaluated by a panel of judges.
The winners earned the right to participate in an internship program at SAHA Robotics and to benefit from a 1-year office space at Silicon Valley Bilisim. In addition, the winning team that fully develops and completes their project will have the opportunity to participate in the "Take Off Istanbul" startup summit.
Over the course of the one-month camp, more than 150 applications were received in total, and 105 participants selected based on set criteria received training in both online and in-person formats. The training program covered technological topics such as "Fundamentals of ROS 2," "SLAM Algorithms," and "ROS 2 Tools and Custom Environment Creation in Gazebo," as well as training in entrepreneurship and team building.
Since the camps began in 2023, a total of 924 applications have been received across all three editions, with more than 300 applicants earning the right to compete.
The camp is held within the framework of a cooperation protocol signed in 2023 between the Innovation Center and Silicon Valley Bilisim Baku. The goal is to facilitate access to autonomous systems, robotics, and automation technologies, and to equip young people who wish to specialize and build careers in this field with knowledge and skills related to the ROS (Robot Operating System) ecosystem. Supporting participants in developing their projects in this area through the promotion of innovative solutions is also among the priority directions.
“ASAN Service” at the “Take Off Istanbul 2025” Startup Summit
On December 10–11, 2025, a delegation from the Innovation Center of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan participated in the international “Take Off Istanbul 2025” startup summit held in Istanbul, Turkey.
At the event, where “ASAN Service” is a partner, Azerbaijan was represented with its national stand. The stand showcased the Innovation Center, ASAN AI Hub, resident startups of the INNOLAND Incubation and Acceleration Center, as well as promising local startups representing the innovation ecosystem, including Enverson AI, Convitsa, Polygraf AI, Speakday, IOMETE, Qmeter, Tryverse, and StarKidStories.
During the two-day summit, the Azerbaijan stand was visited by Selcuk Bayraktar, Technical Director of Baykar, İrem Bayraktar Aksakal, Director of the Take Off Girişim Summit, as well as investors and other key participants of the innovation ecosystem. The startups’ activities were closely reviewed, and potential collaboration opportunities were discussed.
On the second day of the event, Vusal Rustamov, Director of the Innovation Center, spoke at a panel discussion on “Regional Startup Ecosystem: Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Turkey” held within the framework of “Take Off Istanbul 2025.”
This year, the “Take Off Istanbul” summit brought together more than 500 startups from 40 countries, over 250 investors, 75 stakeholders, and 11 sponsoring organizations.
The summit is organized within the framework of TEKNOFEST, initiated by the T3 Foundation, the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey, and the Investment and Finance Office of the Presidential Administration. It functions as one of the region’s largest innovation and startup platforms, creating a favorable and barrier-free environment for innovation by bringing together entrepreneurs, mentors, venture capital representatives, and companies.
