As part of the DOST Agency's "Volunteer DOST" program, a successful familiarization visit of young volunteers to the "INNOLAND" Incubation and Acceleration Center took place!
Participants gained insight into the startup ecosystem, learned about the stages of turning ideas into businesses, and received information about the operation of the innovation environment.
The “Modern Education and Innovation” panel discussion was held at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University within the framework of the event organized in partnership between “INNOLAND” Incubation and Acceleration Center and the “ADPU Enactus” international program.
Before the panel discussion, Asaf Zamanov, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation at ADPU; Laman Ahmadova, Advisor to the Director of the Innovation Center; Nicat Amiraslanov, Head of INNOLAND Incubation and Acceleration Center; and Zenfira Seyidova, Coordinator of the "ADPU ENACTUS" team, delivered speeches emphasizing the importance of implementing innovative approaches in education and the contribution of such events to the generation of new ideas.
The panel was moderated by Ziniddin Babayev, Deputy Head of the Project Management Department at the Innovation Center. Speakers included Ahmet Köse, Head of the "Bilim Azerbaijan" project; Khayala Fatullayeva, Head of the Digital Economy Department at the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution; Isa Gasimov, Head of the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal; Aytan Guliyeva-Rzayeva, Senior Training Specialist at the ASAN Innovative Development Center; and Mail Yagub, Head of the "Sociology Academy".
During their speeches, the speakers shared their views and experiences on the importance of applying innovative methods, digital tools, and startup culture in education. The event attracted great interest from young teachers and students, who engaged in extensive discussions and addressed questions to the panelists.
At the end, participants were awarded certificates.
From June 13 to 15, 2025, with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Youth Foundation, the Azerbaijan Student and Youth Organizations Union (ATGTI), and organized by Enactus Azerbaijan, the “Enactus Champions League Simulation Camp” was held.
As part of this special program aimed at developing young leaders, participants gained both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, taking another step closer to the world of entrepreneurship.
During the camp, participants took part in various training sessions and workshops on entrepreneurship, innovation, and project management, held with the support of the “Innovation Center.” Among the speakers were: Director of the INNOLAND Incubation and Acceleration Center, Nijat Amiraslanov, who delivered sessions on “Entrepreneurship and Innovation,” “Introduction to Social Entrepreneurship,” and “Presentation and Communication”; ASAN Innovative Development Center trainer, Nofal Aliyev, who presented the topic “Artificial Intelligence Tools in Startup Development”; and Deputy Head of the Project Management Department, Ziniddin Babayev, who conducted training on “Project Management and Strategy.” Through these sessions, participants not only gained up-to-date knowledge but also developed teamwork and strategic thinking skills.
Later, the simulation of the semifinal and final stages of the “Enactus National Competition” took place. Teams presented their projects, showcasing their knowledge and skills in a competitive environment.
Based on the simulation results, the winning teams were:
1st place – Azerbaijan Medical University
2nd place – Baku State University
3rd place – Lankaran State University

Students of "Kiber One Baku – International IT School" visited INNOLAND. The students became closely acquainted with the INNOLAND Incubation and Acceleration Center, discovering the innovation and startup ecosystem in our country. They received detailed information about the center’s goals and services, directly communicated with resident startups, asked questions, and explored real projects. As part of the visit, the children also observed the activities of the iLAB innovation laboratory, where they saw the process of turning creative ideas into prototypes.
